Plot: After the defeat of Leonidas’ 300 pulls the Persian army led by Xerxes further south to the major Greek cities. The democratic Athens was the first city they encounter in their path. The city has a strong fleet and is headed by Admiral Themistocles. Themistocles was forced to deal with the arch-rival of Athens, the oligarchic Sparta, whose power lies in its superior infantry.
